Sustainability meets quality: Biodegradable medical face mask type IIR
Our new biodegradable face mask is made from polylactic acid (PLA), an innovative material derived from renewable raw materials. PLA is a biodegradable plastic that is processed into films or fibers through extrusion. These fibers form the basis of the nonwoven fabric used to manufacture our more environmentally friendly face mask, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional materials.
Rapid decomposition in industrial composting facilities
A key advantage: In industrial composting facilities, the mask decomposes by 90% within just 130 days—an enormous improvement compared to conventional plastics, which can take hundreds of years to break down.
