Why We Voluntarily Publish a Sustainability Report

12.06.2026

A Look at Our Commitment to Responsibility and Long-Term Sustainability

Sustainability is no longer just a trend – it has become a key factor for long-term business success, societal trust, and responsible corporate action. But what does this mean in practice for BODY PRODUCTS? And why do we publish a sustainability report even though we are not legally required to do so?

What Is a Sustainability Report?

A sustainability report documents how a company operates from an environmental, social, and economic perspective – in other words, how responsibly it manages resources, people, and processes. It provides transparency about where we stand today, what we have already achieved, and where we see opportunities for further improvement.

Typical topics include:

  • Energy consumption and CO₂ reduction
  • Use of sustainable materials
  • Labor and social standards
  • Quality and environmental management
  • Corporate values and compliance

Why We Do It Voluntarily

BODY PRODUCTS is not among the companies legally required to publish a sustainability report.
Nevertheless, we have consciously chosen to do so.

Because for us:

  • Sustainability is not a compliance exercise – it is a core conviction.
  • We want to demonstrate our commitment to responsibility towards customers, partners, employees, and the environment.
  • A structured report provides clarity: Where are we today? Where do we want to go? How will we get there?
  • It helps us measure progress and actively manage our sustainability goals.
  • It demonstrates that BODY PRODUCTS thinks and acts with a long-term perspective.

What It Means for Our Customers and Partners

Our sustainability report also provides tangible benefits for external stakeholders:

  • Transparency regarding our processes and standards
  • Clear insight into the sustainability measures we have already implemented
  • Confidence that they are working with a responsible and future-oriented partner
  • Reliability through our commitment to clearly defined goals

Particularly in the healthcare sector, where quality, trust, and safety play a vital role, this sends an important message.

Looking Ahead

We are currently preparing our 2025 Sustainability Report, which will be published in 2026. The report is intended to make our journey visible, provide guidance, and underline our commitment to quality, responsibility, and long-term sustainability. With this step, we want to demonstrate one thing above all:

For us, sustainability is not a trend – it is a long-term commitment.
